Dollar store puzzles become stamps

February 17, 2010 by Erin Heaton

When I saw these foam puzzles at Dollar Tree and it was clear to me they had a higher purpose. Immediately, I knew I could use them as stamps.

To test them out, I decided to make some wrapping paper for my nephew Karl’s birthday present.
For a 3D effect, I first stamped black, then layered another stamp on top.
These have so many possibilities: signs, cards, tags, kids projects. I will definitely be using these again, especially when Elise is old enough for crafts!
P.S. I had this post written and scheduled for at least a week, then yesterday I saw this post on Ohdeedoh. Certainly not such an original idea, but the coincidence is kinda creepy!
