Kid-size rainbow rocking chair

Kids rainbow rocking chair

I wanted to share with you this kid-size rocking chair I painted for a friend’s fundraiser. It was a pretty straightforward paint job, but I thought it turned out really cute.

I filled in some staple and nail holes, then sanded the whole chair before painting. I knew I wanted to paint the rocker red, and then the rainbow scheme just kind of happened naturally.

The rocker came from Michael’s, and the red paint I used was Olympic’s Red Gumball. (I just bought a custom-mixed sample!) And the rest of the colors were paints I had on hand or mixed on the spot.
