Yet another playroom update

November 3, 2010 by Erin Heaton

So far in my updates I have only shown, you our playroom-to-be from one perspective: facing the windows.

Well, today I am showing you the other end of the room, because this wall that has been open for more than a year has finally been put back together.

The painting is nearly complete; I think this small section of wall needs just one more coat.

I also re-painted the closet doors. A thankless job painting white over “white,” but they were yellowing. The difference in shades is subtle in the photos, but in person the doors look a whole lot brighter. I actually used the exact same shade of paint (Delicate White) for both the walls and trim — eggshell for the walls and semi-gloss for the trim.
